WAKE UP MY PEOPLE Brothers and sisters Congolese now is time for all of us to start thinking about our destiny
as well as our future in this twenty-first century. We, as the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo should now come together as a people and put our ethnically, political and other differences aside, and start rebuilding the great Congo. Many Congolese including our leaders do not understand the meaning of DEMOCRACY. In order to have a real and true democratic system in Congo, our government must have a system of safeguard of Congolese democratic rights. In other words, I mean our governmental branches: Executive, Judicial, and Legislative each one have to have some kind of control over the others, to keep in check any one branch from becoming too dictatorial over the others. Once we understand how the safeguard democratic rights works, then we must redefine ourselves, state new values and goals for the future of all the Congolese people. I hope this time we must win and most of all we must work together as one people. We have complex problems in our country but we must overcome them by uniting and sharing our views for the better Congo. Now is the time for all the Congolese to join hands and rebuild our nation. We do not have to wait for the western countries to rescue or help us rebuild our own great nation. The roots of the Congolese Revolution lay in the colonial past; similarly, the Cafe Reflexion movement to ameliorate the lot of the Congolese people had its origin in the late Mobutism era. Unless we act now, we risk another case of the remorse that often follows ordeals in our continent of Africa. IF YOU APPRECIATE THE INFORMATION WE PROVIDE, PLEASE SUPPORT OUR WORK.
